Newborn session fee only

Newborn Deposit

Your £50 non-refundable Deposit is required when booking to reserve your session. Your desired session is not reserved until the fee is received in full and clear. Your deposit is deducted from your chosen package.

Please note that weekend session bookings are subject to an additional £50 weekend fee. This fee secures a weekend time slot and is not deducted from any photography package.

By paying this deposit, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined in this contract.

Viewing/Ordering Session

You will be invited back for your viewing/ordering session around 1-3 weeks later. You will be able to view all of the beautifully enhanced images. At this point, you can place your order for either a package or wall art. Payment methods accepted are cash and bank transfer.

Products & Payment

A Package Option must be chosen before ordering extra prints/products. Any extra prints may only be of images purchased in digital format within a package.

Wall Art may be purchased separately or in a package if a minimum spend of £349 is adhered to.

All payments for Packages and extra products are due in full unless a payment plan is requested and agreed to. Orders will not be processed until full payment is received and cleared. If the client has arranged a payment plan, orders will be placed after receiving the final payment. Products will be available for collection within 2-4 weeks of cleared payment.

The photographer is not responsible for any damage to portraits after delivery to the client. The client assumes all responsibility for the safety of all portraits upon receipt.

Safety

If you have or are having a boy, please DO NOT CIRCUMCISE your baby before your session. We will be swaddling the baby while he is naked and moving him from one position to another constantly during the session. This can be very uncomfortable for a baby who has just been circumcised. We will NOT photograph a newborn who has been circumcised less than 6 days before the session.

Session Requests

Please inform Matilda Q Photography should you require Parent and/or Sibling shots during your newborn Session. It is advised to come dressed in plain/neutral clothing that complements each other.

The client (s) will be responsible for themselves and their children and release the photographer from any claims against their person or their business.

If you are breastfeeding, please avoid eating spicy food and drinking caffeinated drinks before the session; these can affect the baby's restfulness.

Personal cameras are not allowed in the studio during your session. Please refrain from taking images or videotaping. We work very hard to ensure your session is captured artistically and creatively. We ask that you respect our livelihood and refrain from photographing what we create.

Model Release

In order to showcase my talents and portfolio as a photographer, I require the use of images online to promote Matilda Q Photography. The images produced from your session may be used on MatildaQ Photography's Website/Facebook/Instagram pages and in promotional work such as special offer flyers/business cards handed out to the general public. Please use the comments section above to express your wishes should your images remain private.

What to we:
I recommend soft pastels, warm neutrals like beige, cream, taupe or caramel, or even muted earthy tones like sage green, dusty blue, or terracotta). I also have beautiful dresses available if you’d like to use them. I have everything needed for the session for the baby, so you don’t have to worry!
